160908 - 2008 RCQ State Award Winners

Five hundred and sixty restaurant and catering industry representatives, friends and family gathered at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane to hear the announcement of the winners and finalists of the 2008 Restaurant and Catering Queensland HOSTPLUS State Awards for Excellence last night.

The coveted ‘Restaurant of the Year’ category was won by E’cco Bistro for the Best Modern Australian Restaurant. The other major category for the night was Caterer of the Year and this award went to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre for Best Function / Convention Centre Caterer. 

Naming Rights sponsor HOSTPLUS is a passionate supporter of all those involved in the hospitality trade and wish all winners the best of luck in the National Awards.

The State winners will compete at a National level where winners will be announced at the National Awards Night to be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on Monday 27th October.
